  • It's sometimes worth travelling to do MS assignments. If

    - you were going there anyway
    - you can combine several assignments
    - it's only a loss on paper (40p a mile for petrol, but you feel it is costing you less for some reason)

the job may still be worth doing :)

  • Can anyone who is online at the moment send me a link in a pm for letter of authorisation for the yellow petrol audit for GAP as I have deleted my link my mistake. I have some today.

    Thanks you very very much

  • I'm doing my first Golden Arches assignment for Gap today. I'm a bit disappointed that we are only allowed to order from a list of 5 things and they are the most boring items on the menu!

I've noticed before with other fast food assignments that they don't tell you what you have to order (or arent allowed to order) until you've accepted the assignment. Probably because people wouldn't sign up for them if they knew!!!

Try using the 'enquiry' link on their website, and mark it urgent. I have found they are very quick to get back to you if you do this (they don't start work until 12.30 our time, but should be there by now)

No show. They had no idea I was a MS.

It was awful. Probably the worst trip to the Golden Arches I've ever had! :rotfl:

Half the cheese and the bottom of the bun was stuck to the box.

I didn't get given a straw for my drink or offered any ketchup or other sauces.

And some of the chips weren't cooked

Won't be going back there, and wont be in a rush to do any more assignments for them!!!

Did one last night and I've never seen so many people cleaning floors/taking trays/talking to customers. Strange that they only started after I got my receipt

Must be time for the scenario to be changed - no normal customer would ask for a receipt.

Thanks I have sorted it now, but I will remember that for the next time I might need it.

    Hiya all

Haven't been on this thread for what seems like years (well months). I did MS last year, and a little bit until May, but I fell pregnant and was so ill and energyless that I haven't bothered since.

However, my first dreaded self employed tax return is due by 30 Sept, (I just haven't have the brain to work on it until now) and my pg porridge brain just doesn't want to work.

For the turnover figure (as I obviously earned less than £15K) do I just put the figure that I received from the MS companies (ie the fee AND reimbursement figure (say the food amt), and then under expenses figure include the food amt, mileage, stationery etc ????

Please help me get my head around this.

    Many thanks in advance.
