It's an eating out one for Retail Eyes........ I'm looking forward to it but am a bit concerned about the following.....

    1. How do you remember all the staff details, and all the other stuff that you have to be aware of??

    2. The "reward" for excellent service.......how do you know what is truly exceptional service? I'm dying to give it to someone (if appropriate of course)!

I'm going to take a paper of some kind with a crossword so that I can jot things down, and I have got a small notebook that I'm going to have concealed in my bag to scurry to the toilets with asap!
Anymore tips? I don't want to look as though I'm logging everything when I am there. My other half is coming as well so at least I'll have someone to talk to!

    TIA :D

It can be a lot to remember!
I assume your OH is in on the secret?
I give my OH 2 things to remember off the sheet so I have a few less things to do. I do the important ones, and then things that are less important (like lighting o/s or litter etc) those were his jobs lol.Not strictly correct but hey.

    Hello
I don't know why I didn't think to ask here before - should have known Moneysavers would be mystery shopping - but I signed up with Cybershoppers last year. Did my sample visit, was told I'd met all the criteria, did the online training, sent off all my bank and NI details.

But I NEVER received a number or any other info from them, despite three or four emails I sent (all unanswered). The only correspondence has been a P60 at the end of the tax year showing no earnings (obviously!).

What would you do? There's no email provided, other than the one I've been using to query things, and I did give up in the end but I'd like to chase them - apart from anything else they have all my financial details!

    Any suggestions?
    Thank you!
    Muddled

There are fewer and fewer jobs on the original Cybershoppers website as they're moving it all over to the new cybershop.GfK site, but try calling them to sort it out if you're getting no reply from the shoppers email. Freephone helpline 0800 279 6979

Oh yes! I haven't told him where we are going though, just incase he would let it slip (unlikely)

I've just been through the notes and jotted down bullet points in my little book with spaces underneath so I can nip to the loo and most of the stuff can be "out of the way" before the food arrives! :T:T

I tell my OH thins so that he can do some of the remembering, so I'll wisper to him that the waitress is called Jenny IYSWIM. I also write text messages and save these to my outbox/draft folder. So I'll use starters 8 12 - for starters took 8 mins 12 sec to arrive. No one bats an eylid at people texting.
