Is the body part anything to do with the chest by any chance? Still trying to work out who the chain are, if so....:o
No, it's a body part that's to do with your face, and there's two of them :rotfl:

This is a fun game :p

:o I think I have a warped mind! (You did know who I meant, didn't you? ) I know who it was, now. I've suffered this week from them as well - we had the cheapest things on the menu, but still spent over £15 more than we were reimbursed........

  • #205 - If you don't have time to look through some pages of posts, how are you going to find the time to register for jobs, keep checking if there are any, actually do the jobs, enter the reports, answer queries, keep records for the inland revenue, etc?

One more thing to consider - TNS require a lengthy test from you which can take an hour or so. You will then have to wait weeks before you find out if you were successful or not. Mystery shopping is not easy peasy to be done within 2 minutes. It requires a lot of time and commitment and lengthy reports.

Had an awful time the other day doing a MS at a building society. I went in for a quick chat with a mortgage adviser and there was not one available at the time. So I spoke to a person who took some details and they offered me a interview with a mortgage adviser. As I was a customer I had to give a false name, but my real telephone no and made an appointment. Then the day of my appointment I rang to cancel as I had all the information that I needed. Later on that day I get a phone call from the police saying that someone had reported me for using a false name and details at a building society. Then I had to inform them that I was doing a MS which had gone totally wrong. The building society had informed the police for suspicious behaviour. The woman that I spoke to was ok about it and a bit a shocked liked me. I then had to inform the company that I was working for and explain that the police were then going to tell the building society and reveal all.

After the day that I have had I don't think that I will be taking those assignment again ever. I have learnt a lot from that not to use a false name or anyone else details.

Yes, as I've previously mentioned, I got in a bit of a pickle over this same Building Soc (well think it's the same one, about mortgages). As you say, the mystery shopping company actually tell you to use a false name if you are an existing customer, but they were so persistent in returning my call, that by the time I went in to do the 2nd part and the mortgage advisor wasn't available, I thought I can't leave the same false name as she'd rung me about 3 times to try and make an appointment - she'll remember me. So I gave a different false name and mobile number, which she then rang a couple of times too!

About 10 days after all this, I got a call from their security dept, wanting to check some details. It was only a message to ring them back, which I didn't do, but it's making me wonder now!

You'd think they'd agree all this with the Building Soc, when they sit down together to work out the scope of the job, especially when it's so detailled. I'm glad I didn't get an appt in the end - more lies and tangles would have ensued!

I won't be doing another one of these jobs either! Still not paid for this one, although my rating is 8/10 - does anyone know when this European firm pay - the only one I know who quotes the fee in euros?

I dont know how the MS company gets away with it asking us as Mser to use false details or the building society as they should sit down with each other and discuss what they want. I am thinking know should I take on any more jobs connected to a bank or building society again as I could and anyone else could get in serious trouble over all of this.
I am still waiting for the MS company to get back in touch with me about the situation as I had to advise them of what had happened.
I don't know what will happen this time as the police have been involved and they will have to write a report and explain to the building society what I was doing there.

So in the next couple of weeks I am expecting a cheque with my account balance on it, if they find out who I am.

    If that happens I won't be amused.
