How much paperwork do you keep? I make sure I hold onto as much paperwork as possible - I use an accounting system to keep my records so it produces invoices as standard - on these I detail any premiums I've been offered and who offered me them. Reason for all this record keeping is that I can then send them to court if they don't pay up! Sounds messy but it's really very simple and as long as you've done as they asked, you can sue them for the money if they decide not to pay up.

Having said that, even the monkeys at GAP will probably not withold other monies owed. DON'T whatever you do cancel all your other jobs; they'll suspend your account and you won't be able to log in to keep an eye on what they owe you!

I would insist they refund your expenses unless they've explained why you've not been paid for them. They can't contract you for doing a job and then not pay you without telling you why....

Keep us updated on the progress though; I'd be interested to hear the outcome!

I keep all my paperwork, have just looked back through it & cannot see that I have made any obvious mistakes so am baffled as to why a problem with these 3? I have another MS for the same company this afternoon plus another 6 later this month, will go ahead with todays & hope they respond before the others are due as I am not keen to keep spending out if they are going to fail to pay up on a technicality!

Are the reports they've rejected negative ones, for a burger company by any chance?

I've found that ANYTHING negative on a burger shop WILL be questioned by the management - they're also brutal liars (obviously not all of them!) so they'll try and get out of anything you've said. It's strange for GAP to not get back to you to question your reports though...

Are you sure your reports were rejected, not just accidentally unpaid?

No, they are for the place which has recently had a strike:p Only one was a bit on the negative side, the other 2 were both pretty positive. They are showing on my assignments page as "rejected/cancelled", I assume this means they have been rejected as they weren't cancelled prior to the MS date? I have not heard a sausage from Gap about querying anything so I guess I must have made a fairly huge uncorrectable error but what? I am not a novice MS'r for heavens sake!

I'd keep badgering them for a reason, Lillibet, as rejecting a job without an explanation is just not good enough. :mad: They will reply eventually, just keep emailing.

Gap have been known to cancel jobs due to the client's request, and only pay if the MSer complained. Good luck.

Is anybody having problems logging into GAP???? I keep getting "Login Failed" in red writing under where you enter your username and password, and I know it is correct cos I have it saved. Any advice???

Is there a telephone number at all that I can ring if I have problems as I have an assignment that I need to report on (and I know how difficult GAP are to get hold of both in email and on the telephone).
