    hey mystry shoppers/

...applied for A BUILDING SOCIETY (don't put client names!) on bare, (does anyone knows how long they take to reply? for your request its been 24 hours and i havent heard anything. have i missed it or do they think i m not good enogh hmmm....)

I wouldn't hold your breath on Bare as they leave their assignments on display for AGES after they have actually allocated them, and those building society ones have been on the site for a while. What you need to do is to keep an eye on Bare and apply as the new jobs are posted. I think they have a VERY big operation and you just get given jobs every so often. Once you start working for them they will give you an evaluation with each job, and then I think it affects how often they offer you work :)

I won't try talking about tax atm as I'm at work!

HI, I have recently started Msing and have now signed up with a few companies and registered with the IR (I work full time as well), my question concerns which companies it is best to sign up with, are some better in some parts of the country? I want to maximise what I can earn but do not want to register with all the companies (I seem to have a list of 80+ now) as I am sure with some it would be a waste of time. Or should I just register with them all and see what happens?
Any advice from you experienced people gratefully received, and thanks for a great site and board.

Romi, you might want to edit your original post as well as it's against the conditions - which you have agreed to - to mention companies and clients together. The same goes for fees.

You can apply for as many jobs with Bare as you want as long as you are commited to carrying them out IF they are assigned to you. You will only find out if you have been assigned one when you receive an email/it's been moved to your "shop log".

    Hello all,

:D I just want to share my excitement.:D

I signed up to the first 3 sites at the beginning of this thread yesterday. Today I got my first assignment with Retail Eyes on the 8th June. I did not realise one u choose your first assignment, you can not pick any more until the first one is completed. Ohhh well.... I have started. A few of these a month will all add up.

Can any one point me in the right direction (or link) to other ways I can do stuff to earn money?

Yes, I had that, but you'll find a lot more appear available once your first one has been processed.

You could try TNS - I remember as per a previous poster having difficulty finding the link to register - this is the one with the log in page you could try maybe, but see first post for other links.

    http://apps.tns-global.com/apps/mercury/Login.asp?redirect=%2Fapps%2Fmercury%2FDefault%2Easp

I'm intrigued by the previous poster who has 80+ and would like to hear others replies, if there are any other good ones than those listed on the 1st post.

    Thanks

where does it say that it is a "walk in" one?

I did one of these and got in a bit of a muddle with false names with this Building Society one, already being a customer as the mortgage arranger had already rung me back twice to try and make an appointment, but couldn't offer me one in the timescale required, so I kept declining. By the time I went in to do the walk in bit, I thought I can't use the same false name so gave a different one - sure they smelt a fish by the time she'd rung me back on a different number!

Under 1.4 on Mystery Visit for this one on my notes it says You MUST try and pre-book an appointment (at any given day and time). This is on the "Evaluator and Editor Guidelines". Hope this helps!

Thinking about this one, I haven't been paid yet for this and am curious to see how much I'll get with it being Euros.

I got my first myster shop tomorrow. I have like four in a week which in Arthur Dailys words is a nice little earner.

    Hello there,

I'm a student, and I was wondering how much money I can make if I do mystery shopping regularly. I'm currently working part time for a very evil company that there has been lot's of bad press about and I'm sick of it, and I really want to leave. On the other hand, it's brining in £400 per month, and I'm not sure if mystery shopping can match that. I've done mystery shopping for the company I work for now, so I do have some experience.

So what's the going rate? Which companies pay the best? Will I have to be with more than one company to make the money? Is it worthwhile?

    Thanks,

    Dominic
