But it's a free meal and you don't really do them unless you're going there anyway - I don't anyway....

In my view the pay is OK if I'm going shopping and it's a free burger - the report only takes 5 minutes....

Having said that, I don't do these jobs any more! I actually found it more of a savings tool - spend £4 of my own cash paying for the burger and a month later getting twice that back from gap!
  • Thanx, maybe I'll wait til one come up a little closer. I only have chicken places in my town no 'golden arches' does that mean they have been assigned to a particular person, or that they come up on a specific date?

Also when its a shop purchase, you have £# to spend, to you get the full £# if you only spend pence under the amount

And....my town is there but not my county, shall I contact them about this or not? Its a large county!

Sorry if these are silly questions I just don't want to lose out on anything.
I'm getting older, and lifes getting harder!

You could try letting them know but their list is notoriously bad and so are the chances of your enquiry being replied to!

They pay you the max reimbursement so this is a challenge in itself to make more money out of the reimbursement! ;)

In general I agree ... but people should be careful as some jobs have a minimum spend and if you are only 1p under the minimum, a certain company will not reimburse nor pay you.

Have you passed the Golden Arches test?

Click on "Orientation" at the top of the page, then "Client Specific Orientation" and select them from the list.

Once you've passed and are an accredited Golden Arches shopper you will get so many assignments come up you'll wish you hadnt bothered!!! :rotfl:

You won't be eligible to take this test (or even to see it, IIRC) until you have been working for the company for a while. From memory, I think it is 2 months.

A little stressed, you need to edit your post earlier, as we are not supposed to broadcast how much - sorry, of course I mean how LITTLE :p - we are paid for specific assignments. (Having said that, I agree with Timne that it's a good savings tool, to be paid for eating if you are passing the place. Personally I also use burgers as a free meal out when I know I am going to have to be in a city for the evening.)
Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).

No jobs as of yet. I'm just busy trying to read the entire thread, i think my head is going to explode with all the info I need to take in. I know I need to register with the taxman, but could some nice person post some basics for me i.e what I can claim for on my tax return etc, best way to keep records, or instead of posting here could someone pm?

    Cheers
