Hiya,

Thanks for the lovely welcome - RBK, you are not a waste of space, you're lovely and your kind welcoming post is so thoughtful.

Just got back from the doctors, been given a sick note for 2 weeks and he's taken me off the meds. He's also arranged for the mental health nurse to call me and arranged a blood test to see if there's a physical reason.

Tiff - have a great holiday.

hi all,
thanks so much for your concern.think its so great of you all to think of others when you are all trying to deal with your own probs.
tiff....hope you have a wonderful hol and it really is nice in yorkshire cos thats where i am (well, not only cos of that!!!)
the more i read about you guys and your probs, i realise mine dont seem quite as bad as i thought and am so proud of how you are all keeping it together (please dont take that as patronising as it sounds cos its heartfelt and honest!)
gillette.....cant you withdraw the savings and say you have had to pay the endowment and buy something expensive like a new washer or cooker? then keep the money under the bed or somewhere??so bloody unfair to penalise you cos you saved the money not spent it!!!go and get the med4 if you can bear and get what youre entitled to. xx

there are so many others on here ive read about but until i get familiar with all the names,il just press my thanks to you.my memorys totally cr*p just lately and am sure its down to the dp.all goes into one and takes me ages to rem what day im on!!!
glad im very organised with the paperwork and dds or id be up the proverbial without an oar!!!have to read and reread all the posts and still cant rem what i read.
bit of a glass half empty day today.started with a wonderful dream about a lottery win and a celeb whisking me off(hope this isnt one of the side effects of the med)
anyway,it felt so real and then woke up and realised it wasnt ......and the day seem to go downhill from there and just want to go back to bed all day to try to recapture it.lifes a !!!!!,aint it???
just have to warn you all, for furture ref, that my way of coping is humour.so if my posts appear flippant and cheerful, etc please dont get the wrong idea and wonder why im on a depression thread when it seems like that the last thing i suffer from.

I went for my bandaging today... just had my legs done in the end, couldn't tolerate anymore than that cos it bloody hurts!! I feel as tho my legs are being squeezed by needles or something :eek: Couldn't even come home and get a bit of a rest cos I had to attend our maintenance man's disciplinary review (he didn't turn up) :rolleyes: I've been thinking about applying to become a JP/magistrate for a while, that should keep me busy over the summer eh? I'm gonna do it!!!

Bit of goss, we had a shooting in the next road last night, armed police n all sorts all over the gaff! Tonight one of the winos from the local park ran out in front of a car and the air ambulance had to come out to her

Go for the JP thing. A knew someone that used to do that, and she loved it.
