Yesterday he had:
Breakfast: bowl of cereal ( eaten yesterdat but not today)
Lunch: (at school) drink of juice ( I can check what he has bought on menu)
he will not take pack up and if he does he brings it all home......
Dinner: Bowl of soup and breadcake
Supper: cup of tea with 4 choc chip cookies(only small too), 1 wagon wheel:eek:
Apart from force feeding him I am at a loss.......
Mine was the same... now he is unfillable. He eats maybe 7 Weetabix a day, bacon and brie sarnies, a cooked dinner, lunch at school, fruit, yoghurts.. he is making up for the first 13 years of his life when he ate nothing!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

they dont like to wash...seem incapable of putting anything in a bin and the only conversation you'll probably get out of him if you ask how was his day?....is "good yeah"...or "it was ok"...and you know if its been a good day when thats followed by..."so is there anything to eat..im starving"......
Ah bah, they're not all like that. My 16 year old DS showers every morning without fail and often has a second shower when he comes in from rugby or the gym. He's not bad with bins and even takes the rubbish out when asked, he chats away about all sorts of things he's heard on the news and I know all the Facebook gossip about his friends, probably more than their own mums.
I'm with you on the "...is there anything to eat?" bit though!Val.0 -

Of course every child is different....it would be a boring world if they were all the same...and perhaps there was a little humour in my post that maybe not everyone picked up on....but one thing I do know is I wouldn't change my son for the world!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

I picked up on the humour;):rotfl:0 -
My son is too very clean. He is 15 and since starting secondary school years ago became even cleaner, I just thought I was lucky but now at 15 its suddenly struck me he is suffering with OCD!!!! Showers twice a day uniform in the wash every day endless hand washing. He always said school was dirty and I thought nothing of it! How bad a mum am I only to just figure this out.
Anyway, back on topic........
He is approaching 6ft and puberty for him has been late I think, really since Christmas he has gone from boy to man and daily you see some kind of change. Normally grown taller again overnight.
He can eat for England, Porridge for breakfast, school break is at 11am and he will polish off his 2 rounds of sandwiches and most of his snacks then as well. He comes home starving. I sometimes make sure his dinner is ready for then.
Juice - Well a glass is never enough, I find the carton has migrated to his room quite often!0 -
My teen can eat his tea and then ask if he can have a sandwich for dessert! I try to make him have more filling foods, so have replaced the breakfast cereal with shreddies, can't get him to eat porridge! Filling his plates with 1/3 veg helps too.
Understand where LEJC is coming from re washing. The week my 13yo had a bath on 4 consecutive nights, I queried if he had a girlfriend. :rotfl:0 -
If you want a rough guide to how much teenage boys eat, work out the volume of their legs. They become hollow at 13!!0
