Junior Bond Versus Junior ISA

Can anyone tell me whether a Junior Bond or a Junir ISA is the best value. I am asking for a friend who has £2,000 to put into their childs account. Child is 15 and she wants to keep putting money in at about £20 a month until child is 18. But a Bond or an ISA.
I have tried reading about it but it is a minefield!! Any help appreciated :-)

She does not want easy access to it either otherwise too easy to dip in to it0

If the friend has (or opens) an ISA of her own with Halifax, she can open a JISA for the daughter which currently pays a relationship rate of 6%.

Oh yes, that looks like a very good deal. I have had a quick browse and it doesn't look like there are any clasues on the adult ISA. e.g. she could take out an ISA Saver Online with minimum of £1 and then open the Junior ISA. If that's the case then this looms like a good deal. Thanks0
