Does anyone have any idea how likely we are to get a 7 day break, it mentions on the Sun website 7 night breaks in Europe from £30pp. Is this likely?

    Thanks!

Hi You need to book a 3 and a 4 night break consecutively both at £15 each making £30 (per person). You then need to pay a service charge (usually £7 a night per booking) and can get insurance which includes car breakdown cover. It works out just under £200 which is a good saving on brochure prices. If you are booking for the 1st time it is a bit hit and miss but if you are flexible with dates and parks you can usually get a deal. Booking is online this time once you get the 8th token. When you have been once you can get a priority form for your next holiday with a bonus token meaning you can book a day earlier. Hope this helps

Thanks for this, I was just wondering why the website says a 7 night break for £30pp - I know this is the same as a 4 and a 3 night break at £15 each but wondered whether they are bookable separately or whether I could just book the one break?

    IYKWIM lol Thanks:p

I think the way the booking form is printed now you can book a 7 night break. I seem to remember when we first did it you had to book 2. As we book on the priority site we don't use the booking form printed. Sorry for any confusion. Most of the European holidays are with Keycamp or Eurocamp (both owned by the same firm) but a few of the parks are with other operators. The only one we have stayed with apart from Keycamp or Eurocamp is a Dutch firm called Vacansoleil. We've had no problems at all in the past and go to France twice a year with 2 young children and would recommend Sun holidays to anyone. You can go on the above operators' websites to find out more about the sites. You also get to use all children's fun clubs etc.

We didn't get a priority code this time. You can ask for a priority code by phone on: 08445439790 This is The Sun's contact number.

We have just come back from a £9.50 one. Can I ring up and get another priority code for the summer deal? Or is it only 1 per year etc?

    Thanks Tim!

Iv stayed with Eurocamp before and found them to be fantastic, we stayed at the big one near paris (I forget the name Port Vieux...) it was lovely. We were originally going to stay with Eurocamp for 17 days this Aug/Sept as our belated honeymoon and were paying £1700. We just couldn't justify this cost and cancelled the holiday so the option to rebook for less than £200 albeit only for a week was too good to turn down!

Id already researched each of the Italian Campsites a million times last year so I know what I want (I have a list of 8 sites) and when I can take it (choice of 2 dates). I have my name down on the priority code list but Im tempted to buy a priority code from ebay (£10+). Id really like to ensure we get our honeymoon we've gone without even if we are taking our 3 children!!!

Thanks for giving me advice on the website, there's so many options I am getting there but Im still not confident!!!

I would think so. We've got 10 nights booked in July (7 nights in my name and 3 in my partner's) and when I rang up on Friday they gave me 2 new priority code numbers (1 each). We are going to book another holiday in August/September. We have asked the Sun if this is against the rules and they told me it was not as we have used both names in the last 2 years. We have done this before, the only problem being that we may have to change accommodation part way through although we let the operator know when we receive the confirmation and they try to link the holidays together. Hope this helps

Don't give up. You will be able to book online this time. You may have to take any park this time but once you've been once you get priority for the next one. The one we're going to in July was £1100 in the Keycamp brochure and we got it for just under £300 ( 7 and 3 nights in 2 names) so it is worth doing it. I am not sure about buying a priority code because I thought they were only for the named person but I may be wrong. It may be worth setting up another thread to see if anyone else has done it. If all else fails, book a 3 or 4 night break in the uk this time and you will get on the priority list for next time. Hope you get your honeymoon.

Thanks Tim, I'll ring the number tomorrow. I'm aiming for the August midweeker. Armed with possible locations and dates. We went on one in August last year, was priority and got first choice and date. Thoroughly enjoyed it, cheap and in kids holidays. We are back for more. How can you snub a sun holiday? :rotfl:

    hi

has anyone been to kiln park with sun hols if so do you def need entertainment passes for swimming etc or just for the note time entertainment

    thanks in advance
    stephx

Wondering the same thing. We were in tenby over the easter hols. Had a drive through this park, it's really big.

I tend to not buy entertainment passes anymore, and have found some sites will still let you have access to the facilities including swimming, but some most definitely wont!

I am looking at all the tenby parks for availability in either july or september.
