Thanks everyone for your help RE Park fees, Im finding loads of useful info relating to the parks. I was hoping for a little sun in France (or even a sneaky Italy seen as we'd already booked Bella Italia as a honeymoon on Aug 26th for £900 and had to cancel) however money is tight and I don't want the added stress so will save that for another time. I wish Id found these Sun holidays earlier... I just hope I remember to buy the papers - Im soooo forgetful at times. I wonder if my newsagents can deliver for a week?
Anyway we are set for anywhere along the South coast, possibly Dorset or Devon/Cornwall. We are not too fussy but will have to think of entertainment should the English weather let us down.
Its nice to even be able to consider holidaying without making the kids miss school so good on you Sun newspaper, not that Iv ever bought you before!!!Saving needed to emigrate to Oz*September 2015*
£11,860.00 needed = £1,106 in savings

Haven't used these before so sorry if this is a stupid question

How do the codes work? Is there 1 code printed a day across all of the papers each day? Or could you buy 8 copies of the sun on Saturday and get 8 different codes, rather than buying 1 a day for 8 days?
They only print one code per day, so you need codes from 8 different days.
Sometimes the codes get put on the internet. We aren't allowed codes on the grabbit board, but there are other areas of MSE where holidays are discussed

How do these Sun holidays compare to the Daily Mail holiday offer, if anyone has been on both? Is it the same holiday parks? Thanks in advance:)'It is better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.'

I am going back to Hendra holiday park in Cornwall in July, last year i managed to book with The Sun, this year The Daily Mail opened their booking site earlier so i went with them (no choosing 3 parks and 3 dates which made it easier as i was limited to when i could go) the costs have been the same with both papers.

I have also received my priority code in the post too. I also phoned up this morning and got the priority code for my O/H and DD. The man I spoke to said nothing about not needing a priority code this year.N1LDA

Think there is a new online post application site. I guess this is for people who do not have the priority code and can book online rather than doing a postal application a day later than the priority bookers0 -
Does having a priority reference number enable you to book the same as in previous years, or will everyone now be using the new online booking system? ie. it says this year that everyone can now pick 4 dates/parks and they will let you know in a few minutes if you have been successful. Previously if you were a priority booker you could play around with parks and dates and get instant availability info. Does anyone know if this is still the case?
I am confused!!!0 -

How im reading it is that the new online post application system is for people who do not have a priority code enabling them to apply online instead of using the postal application. But priority bookers should still be able to book a day earlier because of the extra code.0 -
