With 3 children its impossible to fly £500 minimum usually) and we may settle for Cornwall, but I do love Cornwall and it is somewhere I promised to take the children!
I can thoroughly recommend Haven Perran Sands (Perranporth). Up in the sand dunes, decent entertainment area etc, short walk to shops, even shorter walk to the (massive) beach.0 -
seems a good offer but I am still awaiting Alton Towers tickets is any one else0

Either to France or Cornwall?
Has anyone any experience, the Hotukdeals thread has me scared, there is a link and its indicating around £11pppn which seems extortionate for a £15 offer!
Also, will I pay the Sun charges for a 2 year old?
Thanks and I apologise for the questions!
it depends on the park you choose, some dont charge anything extra others will charge for a service charge and entertainment.
we came back from the isle of wight last week, it was £9 each then i paid £38 for the return ferry and £29 (ish) for the entertainment passes and that was it for the 4 of us :-) but somewhere like Butlins will charge a bit more.....just look at all of the information before you book x0 -

I was just starting to give up hope with the alton towers tickets. Every other year I had received them quickly even if they were for late in the year. But they turned up yesterday so obviously they are still being sent out.
We got back last Friday from a sun hol to a Park resort in Clacton (despite having priority this is literally all we got offered) and the park is absolutely dire. They even had an extra charge for linen that only gets added to Sun holidays. Never had a bad park through the sun holidays before. We have been to Perran Sands (Haven, Perranporth) which is really nice as someone above mentioned and we went to another Haven in Wales last year which again was good. But the Park resort in Clacton I would really recommend people don't opt for. It isn't a nice place to stay on any level.0 -

The service charge has to be paid and is a per caravan/unit per night charge, so for Haven Riviere Sands, Hayle it says:
http://www.ukholidaysinthesun.co.uk/cgi-bin/UKHS_park_0003.cgi?copy=1138&promo=SUNSUM13&sort=A&showall=YService Charge Information:
Service Charge £7.95 per unit per night
Entertainment Plus Pass £5.50 per person per £9.50 break - £10 per person per £15 break - Under 5s FREE
They may try and bill you for linen and 'normal' extras such as entertainment passes but it's up to you whether you want them.
So Riviere Sands would be £15 x4 plus 4 x £7.95 for a Mon-Fri break. It says under 5 free but am not sure if that means completely free or just extras. Here's their FAQs:

Oh and it seems that everyone can book online with the codes this time around - no priority code needed.
