Which fund platforms/supermarkets would you recommend for new funds?
I've been investing with L&G through Nationwide in previous years (just because all my other accounts are with Nationwide) but since they take such a large initial commission I think this year I should use a cheaper provider.

Much depends on which funds you want to invest in, and sometimes it also matters how much you invest.
There's various places that have information about platform costs, such as candidmoney and monevator.0 -

I'm just thinking for this year's allowance so not transferring any old money. Not sure weather to drip feed some money in each month or just put in a lump sum.
I was all set to sign up with Hargreaves Lansdown as that seems quite popular but now recently I've seen a few negative comments (although maybe this is only due to amount of mail they dish out!)
Trustnet also seems a popular choice0
