Freesat and Music

I have a Pure Evoke Flow DAB radio. As well as the normal DAB stations it connects to the Internet via WiFi and gives access to literally thousands of internet radio stations.

You can search for them using your PC and there are channels for just about every type of music out there plus comedy, drama, sport, current affairs etc.

While messing about with mine after I first got it I found a station dedicated to Iranian Hip Hop, who Knew? Then there was the one playing soviet music from the 50s. :eek:

I now have a good selection of firm favourites stored in the radio and I wouldn't be without it. You can listen to all this music on your PC or laptop but the radio is more portable and smaller than a laptop.

There are other internet radios but I have no experience of those.
