TV Licence - No reminder...

I have an almost expired TV licence (expires on 30 April) - up until now, I have received a reminder, through the door - at the start of the month - nothing yet has arrived
Are we alone in not receiving a reminder ?

I hope you don't think the lack of reminder means you don't have to pay?

Wish I was so lucky,I have been getting a get a threatening letter from these low life every month without fail for the past two years & I don't possess a TV.
Be good to the young on their way up you might need them on your way down.

The reminder is a 'courtesy', it's your responsiblity to have a valid licence, reminder or not.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Don't worry - I am intending to stay legal - just wondered how I was supposed to pay (don't you need a ref number to pay by direct debit ?)

if you automatically renew, did you read the last one, where it says they won't issue them for the next 3 years because the price is fixed?

then you still can do it

    but direct debit is easier.

Ours is due 30 November each year. I got email reminders as I'd renewed online a some point in the past. I normally take the reminder to a Paypoint and pay by debit card.

But like you we used to get a reminder (about three weeks in advance). But we were well into November and no reminder. I contacted TV Licencing via the webpage on 22 Nov and got a message to say they were pleased to confirm a application has been sent out. It arrived on 29 Nov (day before due). I posted a cheque the same day in the hope that will somehow result in a postal reminder next time. I guess it's best to set a monthly DD and have done with it, but I want it as it was!
So no you are not alone in not getting a reminder!
