daft stocks and shares question

We have had various isa wrapped funds for several years and I am reviewing them. Although we have never taken any income, the number of units or shares have not increased......so what happened to the dividends/growth?

I can't believe I don't know this - but I don't!

Normally you elect to have them reinvested or kept in cash within the ISA for you to reinvest.

I am with Halifax and my dividends are clearly shown and added to the cash element of the ISA.

    Cheers

Thank you - It looks like I am going to have to call the providers as there is no sign on my statements!

do you have accumulation units (as opposed to income units)? accumulation units will automatically reinvest the income, but the price of the units rises to reflect this, instead of buying more units. for most funds, a choice of accumulation and income units is available.

Oh yes - they are accumulation units. So the rise in the price of units takes account of reinvestment as well as growth??
