Lucky you !
Weather should be like the UK recently : http://weatherspark.com/averages/28894/11/Troms-Norway so bring whatever you wore here for the snow
Enjoy - the lights are fantastic - but don't appear every night so look on it as a bonus if they come along0 -
Several thin layers is better than one thick one, if you're not sure what you need.
TK Maxx is good for cheap ski wear if you want to get a decent pair of gloves/mittens or base layer thermals. It was much colder when I went, but a good ski jacket with layers underneath was fine most of the time. Ditto the bottom half - if you're going to be outside a lot, get some ski thermals to wear under your trousers. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
And don't take jeans. They don't insulate and don't dry when they get wet. Fleece lined walking trousers or similar are far better.0

hi all again, less than a week till we go, hope this isn't a daft question, but as part of our trip we are staying overnight in a sami tent whilst hoping to see the lights , my question is what do I need to bring to sleep in ,will thermals and pjs be enough ?0

Hotels and local tours nearly always supply tourists with hefty overgarments inc overboots and gloves.0

I took DD to Lapland just b4 xmas last yr, all the winter gear was supplied by the tour operator
Boots, socks, mittens, hat, ski suit.
We were advised to layer light - the ngt we did a husky experience, it had dropped to minus 40C...
I brought 2 sets of thermals (4 days out there( but found I didn't need them in the hotel just when we went out,
Myself - pr leggings under trousers, tshirt, jumper and I was warm enough. ore layering light layers as this keeps the heat in,
Congratulations on the win xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
I recommend Rohan technological clothes for your trip
They have airflow fabrics that keep your body temperature regulated, they wick up sweat and even have a technology that means they don't need washing so often. They are lightweight and pack up small.

They have a sale section called the souk.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Is an actual reaction to my posts, so please don't rely on anything I say.0 -
