I have a HP Deskjet 3050A all-in-one printer, and I cannot get anything to print from my laptop to it.
When I press control + p, it shows this printer as the destination, and the blue light is flashing on the wireless button on the printer, but nothing is happening.
I have done a test and it says that the wireless radio on your HP printer is currently turned off.
I have gone into settings and clicked wireless on, but still no joy.
What am I doing wrong?

Is that settings on the printer itself (ie on an LCD screen), or printer settings via your computer (ie you can connect to the printer via your computer)?0
-
Its the little lcd screen on the printer0

Has it ever worked or are you setting it up for the first time?0
-
It was working ok (don't use it that often)
Had fibre broadband installed last week, but with same supplier. Would that make any difference?0 -
If the router was changed then you would need to run through the set up again.
If not, what's the model of printer?
I find that it's much quicker and easier to set up from scratch whenever I have issues with wireless printers. Troubleshooting can be a pain on mine (no LCD screen, just a combination of buttons and lights) that it's always easier to spend ten mins setting it up again!0 -
That would make sense, had a new router.
Now to try and work out how to do the set up. It's a HP all-in-one 3050a0 -
Do you have a set up disc that came with it?0
-
yes, but disk drive not working so I think it had to be set up manually0

Ah right.
It may be able to be solved by just making sure your wireless network name and security settings on your new router are set up to be the same as on the old one. That would hopefully just restore the network configuration for the printer.
Do you change your wireless settings to something you want or do you use the ones that come with the router?0 -
Here's a link that may help depending!!
