broadband and line rental help

Hi there.

Ihave just moved into a new house and i am getting confused.

We want broadband, and the house doesn't have an activated Phone line.

In order to get broadband do i have to pay for a calls plan, even if we will never use it?

Thanks
Jono

To get broadband you need an active line, for which you have to pay line rental. Just choose your provider's line rental option, which comes with a minimum call package included.
You will also need to pay a one-off reconnection charge.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
