    Afternoon all
Went to work, one person didn't bother turning up, so 2 of us did 4 hours cleaning, left the place sparkling.
I was going to do some of my own work, but I was told last week to take in the key for my cupboard (I'm not sensible enough to be trusted with it) key's now lost, lol, so not worth me being there & no point me going in tomorrow, the work will have to wait.
I'm going to do some cooking & baking now.
    Have a good afternoon everyone.
    Hugs Hester

Well, brother made the Glasgow flight with 2 minutes to spare, so emotional reunions all round, although his daughter hardly said 2 words to anyone. She has just been collected by her mother, and brother has gone for a walk to wake himself up, although am sure he is just delaying the inevitable nagging from mum! He will no doubt be back later to see my DD as shes working till7. Dinner is in the oven, better go bring in the washing and see if its dry.

Well i knew it wouldnt last. My sons ex be'friended' me on Facebook a few days ago.

Now she is dropping hints as big as housebricks about her having no money, cant work as she's got a bad back and wanting to give her son (my grandson) all the best things in life. Also moaning about my son.

It might all be true but i sure dont want to hear all this on my newsfeed and no, just because she's now allowed my son limited access to his son doesnt mean to say she's getting a handout from me.

Sorry, i just wanted a rant.

Judi - you can unsubscribe from her newsfeed - go onto her name, click on the friends box that comes up and it should be there as an option to "show in newsfeed", remove the tick and she will be gone from your feed. Alternately move her to restricted or acquaintances sections. I have had to do that with my SIL this week...... she is useless but I will not get started or else I will not finish

Anyway, late to the party today but hugs to all who need them and thank you for the good wishes re Bobby who has today sat on his swing making lots of noise and chomping his way through celery AND lettuce. Not had much work but done some admin for tax, student loan, written two articles and then when OH came in we lowered one of the hedges at the back - our hedge but when we cut it the neighbours complain "it was the right height for us"..... the road revolves around them they think. Anyway, the other neighbour gave me a tip off they've gone on holiday (leaving their cars parked all over the verges etc) so us and said neighbour are taking the chance to do all the hedge work etc they moan at :rotfl: Watched the Sewing programme...... OH is really into it and now in bed about to start on some cross stitch. Oh and one lot of washing done today, made some carrot and corriander soup for OH's lunch tomorrow (his fave) and en suite cleaned. Not a great deal BUT the writing was the priority today.
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D

  • Had a long chat with the doctor today and she has referred me to the hospital about my hands, she said it could be one of two things, carpal tunnel or neuropathy, so yet another consultant to add to my list, DH says that I am starting a collection :rotfl::rotfl: I am really going to miss her when she retires this year, I hate having to get used to new doctors and I do prefer a female doctor.

Had a lovely time at Dobbies and spoilt MIL rotten, she really enjoyed herself and loved what we bought her.

Redruby give your little dog a big huggle from me, bless her.

    Judi Well done Hubby :T
