Mortgage advise

I own my property outright, I intend to let this house and buy another with the help of a mortgage to live in.
Should I just get a new mortgage on the new house or release equity from the house that I own and intend to rent out? :money:
I am confused over tax relief
Thanks in advance

Why do you think that the Credit Cards board is a better place for asking this than, say, Mortgages & Endowments or House Buying, Renting & Selling or Cutting Tax?0

He posted in "House Buying, Renting & Selling" at 10.39. Possibly couldn't delete this?0

The people on the mortgage board will advise you with some good advice.0

Grumbler, it was my first post and didn't select the correct forum......if my question was so disagreeable to you, you should have ignored it. No need for rudeness!
The Boss, and Cos thank you0 -
I think you have serious problems if you find my post rude. In fact it was an ironic advice to post in the right place and the list of possible places.
And if you posted here erroneously and then found the right place to ask your question, you should have come back here and edited your post instead of relying on Cos or somebody else to trace all your posts and do this for you.0 -

You've chosen your MSE name well, Grumbler! :rotfl:0
