I used to have a woman that kept a list of the things she used to love about me.

    I do miss those things.

  • My OH is my Rock, love him to bits :kisses2:. Been together over 24 years and like most people we've have had a fair share of problems, but he always says / does the right thing. Would be totally lost without him. :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Thank you to all those who have replied I'm happy to read that there are so many who have happy long lasting relationships, and to those with negative comments well each to their own I suppose I'm well aware of my situation thank you very much I am dealing with it, I'm not going to sit in a corner crying about how bad my life is I'm doing something about it, the point I was merely trying to make was that I wish I had more positive things to put on my list, I dont think that is so bizarre!
LOVE isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live WITHOUT

I was in a relationship like that for years, if his feet touched me in bed I squirmed away from him!! Finally plucked the courage up to end it and met my now partner and never been happier.

I love everything about him, hes a great dad which is so amazing, he thinks nothing of getting up with the kids on a Sunday and giving me a lie in, he brings me breakfast in bed, he runs me a bubble bath, I can talk to him about anything, he really is my best friend and he constantly compliments me! Hes a gorgeous perfect man and Im one lucky girl xx

That sounds a bit harsh on the Op.
Don't you think that sometimes when you're feeling a bit down and that the whole world is against you, you start to wonder .....'Is it just me' ?
And you just want to ask what's going on in other peoples lives.

Why is is harsh to suggest the OP needs to concentrate on themselves a little? I think it's kinda harsh to go on about how fantastic everyone's OHs are when the OP is splitting up with hers.

Me and the OH haven't been together THAT long, just over a year, but things moved pretty quickly. Moved in together after 6 months (moved 120 miles from my family so we could be closer to his).

He's affectionate, funny and loves me for who I am. When I'm having a bit of a down day he won't make a big deal about it. He'll ask if I want to go out and do something (go to the beach for a walk, general out and about) and if not, he'll let me cwtch (still welsh!) up in bed for however long I feel I need to!

As soon as he walks in through the door from work he'll give me a big hug and kiss without fail.

We have our problems with a bit of debt at the moment, but luckily I have had a stable full time job to keep us going while he's been between jobs but luckily he's now in full time work and paying me back :)
