Which phone should i buy?

Hey guys,

I have a list of phones that are available to me on excellent contract deals but i am not sure which one to get.

This is the list

1. LG Chocolate (KG800)
2. Motorola KRAZR K1
3. Samsung E900
4. SE W810i
5. Nokia 6111

The most important thing to me is how it looks (as shallow as that may sound!) and due to that i like the motorola K1 best, however it has been out for a while (i think) and so i don't want to end up with a nice but very old phone 18months down the line and i i'm sure then it won't even look as good (if you know waht i mean). That is the issue, otherwise i would have just bought the Motorola already.

I was hoping you guys could recommend one to me, with the look being the most important attribute, however functionality is still obviously rather important.

Many thanks,

Abbas

    Hi

I agree it's a nice looking phone, but I would strongly advise you to steer well clear of the Motorola. My girlfriend has had two of these go wrong with exactly the same fault (microphone stops working so the person you're calling can't hear you).

It seems like she's not the only one who's had trouble with this phone - see this link for further details: http://www.mobile-phones-uk.org.uk/motorola-krzr-k1.htm
  • 2 friends of mine have both a Samsung and the LG and i'd def recommend the Samsung - it is gorgeous and looks well plush (camera, images etc r all spot on aswell) The LG is nice aswell but im one for looks also and in my opinion u can't beat it :)

Also just to note, the Nokia 6111 was basically brought out as the Nokia's version of the Samsung E900 but is noted as a pretty poor comparison in many ways so i'd rule that one out if I was you..

Feel free to buy me a new fone while ur at it! hehe :)

samsung or sony ericcson, the motorola is difficult to use, nokia just inferior overall ang lg prone to faults
things arent the way they were before, you wouldnt even recognise me anymore- not that you knew me back then ;)
BH is my best mate too, its ok :)

I trust BH even if he's from Manchester.. ;)

all your base are belong to us
  • I was very focused on the Sony Ericsson 810i, but found I could get even better deals (with 3 mobile and the wonderful £100 quidco cashback) by looking at the previous model, the 610i

Either way, there are both good handsets though. But then again, I love the Sony Ericsson interface (and dislike Nokia and despise Motorola interfaces).
