I have just received my Coventry isa application form and do not have any cheque books. There are no branches in my area so I was wondering if I got my Mum to give me a cheque for a £1 then I could send this in with my application.
Would this be ok?
The purpose of these cheques is usually to confirm your ID, and/or to verify your "nominated account".
As such, a cheque from a third party is no good.
You should call them and ask what other option you have.0 -

skaps - It looks as if you can fund it with cheques payable to you, but - as suggested - I would phone them to make sure. I always find Coventry BS very helpful on the phone and everybody you speak to knows what they are talking about!
