How does everyone seem to know how much cheese etc SHOULD cost them?!?!

Never thought about it like that actually!! :o:rotfl:
Anyway so far I've learned my milk is £1.19 and I got a 500g block of cheese for £3.85 in Aldi, butter was cheaper I'm certain!

 Cripes! Asda does 2ltrs milk for 90p here! The likes of cheese, butter etc, I usually just buy when they're on offer. Cheese is £2 for 350g. Butter (olive spread in our case actually) I'd never pay more than £1 for 500g. It's just practise I think. If it's not on offer we do without for an extra day or 2, unless we really need it right there and then.
Started a shopping spreadsheet - item/quantity/cost! Added to it a meal plan sheet. Will help more than the handwritten ones. Hopefully with our shopping being beside it will also help to know what we have!!!

    Clever thinking :)

Hope you find the ring asap.

There ya go then! Best way anyway sure! I can't justify spending money on work clothes at all! lol. It's always cheap and cheerful with me! Have spent the last I-don't-know-how-long trying to get a new waterproof coat for work, again, without spending much. Finally got one the other day - £5.99 in Lidl! :D Yay!

    Hello

Just catching up! *phew* you've been busy!!!

Hopefully ££ stays under control and you don't have to use the credit card. I've been so-so with mine. Not much money in the bank but enough to keep me going this month. And little/no spends on the cc. Just added up the total so far for our kitchen. It's scary but could've been a heck of a lot worse!! :p

  • One of the best things I ever did was devote the top drawer in my chest of drawers in the bedroom to all my lotions/potions/toiletries etc. The room looks instantly tidier and to be honest it's easier to find what I want.

Glad to hear you are slowly de stressing after the wedding (In laws aside!) Xx

Have you actually called her on it? Maybe it is a subconscious bad habit?
I want a job that is less than an hour driving away from my house! Are you listening universe?
