Domestic heating oil

Hi

I've just been quoted 63.9p plus VAT a litre for heating oil and I've just ordered 1000 litres ...at one time there was a summer and winter rate, is this still the case?

Look at the Boilerjuice website to see c.h. oil price trends over the past 2 years. You used to be able to rely on the summer price [say June and July] being lower than winter and on the December price [run up to Christmas] being highest but prices have been haywire for the past couple of years.

Your quote looks remarkably low.

I paid 64.9p for 750 litres two weeks ago so looks a good deal.

As others have stated, it's very difficult to predict the market at the moment. We've been lucky and got good prices still in September and October the year before but it's hit and miss.
