Comfy Flipflops

Fit flops are the ones with the curved sole right ?
I thought they gave your calfs a workout?
I didn't think they were even meant to be super comfortable?
Are they really comfortable? Why? The thick sole?
Calf workout = marketing ploy
I have trouble with my feet and have to wear arch supports. I have 3 pairs of fitflops, I can wear them without supports and they are super comfortable.
Any other shoes without supports and I cant wear/stand for more than a few minutes0 -
I have yet to find a pair of comfy flip flops!0

i would ditch the flip flops and go for birkenstocks or similar - primark are doing 'birkenstocks' for £5 and they are surprisingly comfortable - even if you only use them for a short time you havent lost anything!0

I swear by Fitflops but I wouldn't wear them for a lot of walking as it is bad for your feet to be so unsupported. Not sexy but I like a pair of trekking type sandals from camping shops for walking rather than pottering about."'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life

Not sure why this thread has popped up again, the OP is over a year old!
Anyway, I bought my first pair of Birkenstocks from QVC, a couple of months ago. I can't wear flip-flops, I just can't tolerate toe-posts. I don't like sandals anyway because I don't like my feet being exposed but it's been so hot here I had to get something.
They are a revelation! It's like walking on air and although they're possibly the ugliest shoes that I own, they are just so comfy.
I bought a pair of these....in sparkly pink!
