Orange Second Line ended

Now that Orange is owned by EE, they have ended the second Orange telephone line operated through your Livebox without any notice. They say that they posted and emailed me, but as they only have my Orange email I check and the last email they sent me was 2 years ago. All BS! Nothing received in the post.

Anyway when I spoke to them about this they said that they can take over the BT line and offer me the same deal as before (I've been on this deal for over 6 years) Free calls to land line in the UK and to 64 countries worldwide any time for up to 1 hour at a time, but with a fair usage policy of 1000 minutes a month, which we have gone over only once in 6 years.
I received notification from BT that the line had transferred and within hours of that my internet speed has halved. My line speed has been tested every day for the past 6 years and it's been between 7 and 8 Mps. now I can only get 3.96Mps max. I ran the BT speed test and noticed that they have cut my IS Profile limit to 4 Mps.
They are now running a 'diagnostic' and I should have full speed again within 48 hours, if I don't I have to call them again.

Basically I think they want me to leave as I have the original Live Box contract for International calls, it was reduced to 30 countries after 3 months of release, But I've made good use of the free international calls, about 10 hours a month minimum. :T:rotfl:

Is anyone else having this problem with Orange / EE?

I should also mention that I now don't have to pay for my BT line rental and my £20 per month remains for phone, Broadband and line rental so I have scored an extra £15 per month, but their speed sucks.
