I applied online late last night, and have printed out all the forms. I am going to pop into a near-ish branch so they can do me certified copies of my ID documents. Am I likely to have issues just walking in, or shall I call them and make an appointment? I am also transfering a Northern Rock ISA, so I have an extra form for them.

I walked into the branch in Dewsbury and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Sent all my documents to head office for me to save me posting them. In fact I'm going back tomorrow with my wife's!

Thanks for this, I wasn't going to bother with mine, I need my documents verifying, but I'll go to that branch, and get it all sorted out.

Online Bonus ISA is still available as an option on the application form:

    (--site link--)

You could try a cheeky application to see if it goes through, nowt to lose.

Yes, it certainly worked for me!

When I visited the Leeds website late evening on Monday (08), they had already stated the withdrawal of this ISA on their homepage. But, if you went to their online application (eg. for application of another one of their ISA products) the option for their 'Online Bonus ISA' was still present in the drop-down list.

So I thought I might as well try my luck, did the application for this ISA, and it all went through successfully! Got an account number, logged into my online banking system and confirmed the interest rate of 2.55%.

Posted my application form and ISA transfer form today.

I must have been one of the last ones to apply for this account, as I checked back on Tuesday morning (09) for this account in the accounts drop-down list; It wasn't available anymore.

Apologies if this sounds smug, or if anyone else has missed out on it.

    Regards

Got my paperwork this morning, husband's will probably come tomorrow. Only problem is that my husband does not have a cheque book so I have written a cheque for him. Does anyone think this will be acceptable?
