How about starting your own thread then? This one is now contaminated.

I assume this thread will be deleted if this person ends up with court papers. Strange how anything other than your biased opinions get removed from this site when your shoddy advice proves to have been just that.
So where is my court case then stooge?

Hello All,
New to this so be gentle!!
I am another one who has been subjected to the torments of PE and more recently DR+. The latest letter from DR+ is now asking for £135!!
I also notice that this letter is different from the images posted on this thread so maybe they have taken advice not to display their name through the envelope window (?)
Anyway, to date I have taken the forums advice of completely ignoring all correspondence, not even acknowledging anything by post/phone/email.
My main query is this, my 'offence' was to over stay the free parking period given in the car park by around 45 minutes. So in total, I parked for around 90 minutes (45 mins free plus 45 mins extra). No ticket was obtained.
I read on some forums/websites that you need to obtain/purchase a ticket to enter into the so-called contract with the PPC, so how does this affect me if no ticket was obtained?
I also notice on their letter that they state 'if we do not receive full payment....this matter may be passed to the landholder's solicitor to commence County Court proceedings..."
If I continue to ignore, am I correct in thinking that DR+ cannot prosecute? Are they likely to start harassing me by phone? (as far as I know they do not have my phone number but could probably get it from directory enquiries coz we are not X directory)
Sorry for all the questions, but I need to put mine and my wife's mind at rest to continue on the road I have chosen.
Many thanks.
C.
DRP cannot prosecute.
PE can't prosecute!
It's not a criminal offence!

HTH
In all honesty, the panic, from me at least, was because the first post I came across with my letter on pepipoo ended with a court summons issued very recently. If you follow the PE letter chain thread from the long list that's the thread you end up on.
I just wanted to check there was nothing else I should be doing in the mean time, and I'm glad and grateful for all the responses I've had on here

Just an update:
My mum just called and she's received another letter.
I haven't yet seen it, I will in the next few days, but she says it says something along the lines of "notice of intended litigation", mentions 14 days, details additional solicitors costs etc.
I assume this is just another letter in the chain.
Will keep this thread updated

Yes it is another chain letter, if they intend to issue a claim a letter will come from Northampton mcol , even if its parking eye it is highly unlikely. When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.

I assume they'd find it difficult to claim such huge charges when the car park is actually a free car park and she spent several thousand that day from the shops the car park serves anyway! lol0

Hi all,
My wife has received exactly the same letter.
She is getting a little nervous now but I am sticking with the intention to ignore.
Is there anything else I should be doing?
Thanks,

No.
I post as SchoolRunMum on pepipoo as well, and here's my answer in post #15:
