Does Tesco Mobile credit expire?
I'm thinking of buying a TM pay as you go phone for my mother.
As she does not use a mobile very often I'd like to know if credit will every expire. A small credit would last her a long time.
I know TM do some kind of triple credit which expires, but I'd like to know about the £10 or what ever I topup. Does that expire?
Thanks
Alan

Yes, it does on all networks, You need to make a "chargable event" which means a call or text every 180 days (6 months)
I think all networks work to 180 days, but half remember one (Virgin maybe) is 90 days.0 -
The best tariff for her as a low user to go on would be the Tesco Lite Tariff. http://phone-shop.tesco.com/tesco-mobile/help-and-support/call-charges-payg-litetariff.aspx0

Thanks for the quick replies. 6 Month expiry is fine.
I'm going for a Doro 611 as its only £40 at the moment from Tesco and looks simple enough for her.
