Free paper for shredding and packaging.

Recently I’ve bought a shredder and found that shreddedpaper makes very good recycled packaging. However finding enough of the stuffcan be hard so does anyone have any Idea where to get lots of the stuff for free? The royal mail claims forms are good as they are printed in card however theyonly give you one at a time. If you have any Ideas please share.

And... you don't think that would be immoral?

  • And... you don't think that would be immoral?

Firstlythat was purely an example and no I don’t think that would be immoral, however Iam pretty pis**d at the recent price changes.

Secondly this is straying off topic. Besides there arecompanies that give away things, like books that would just get pulped if noone took them. I’m looking for this sort of thing.

Find a furniture shop, they always have mountains of packaging the sofas come in.

I'm on a bus every day, pick up and read a metro, take it to work and others read it then I bring it home and keep a supply of them for packing!

Great supply of free packing that has also already served it's original purpose.
if i had known then what i know now

Beginning of post deleted due to stupidity.

Excellent idea though m8, well done for suggesting it :) (though I must admit as the recipient I'd go ape having to clear it all up as it spills out lol)

EDIT: Just realised you said you've BOUGHT a shredder and are actually after stuff to shred. Sorry I thought you said you wanted to find pre-shredded paper - doh!

Many out of town Post Offices probably have mountains of 2012 'Our prices' guides... (if others are as inefficient as my local one).

    ...just an idea!

Cost of electric and wear and tear. Would it not be cheaper to buy proper packaging?

Old phone directories like the yellow pages would be a good place to start too. Plenty of pages in there to feed to the mechanical monster!

its an example of ways to increase costs
perhaps the massive rise in the cost of claim forms are the reason...

no I don’t think that would be immoral

Astonishing. I think moral bankrupcy is the expression.

You actually attempted a justification there:
however Iam pretty pis**d at the recent price changes.

This is interesting because rather than think critically about your own behaviour
you have looked at the other party for a justification.
