Good morning

I am working today :j I haven't had much on over the holidays, and as I am self-employed & DH is unemployed that is not good  I have 2 girlies this morning, and another one joining us at lunchtime. Let's hope it is not a case of 3's a crowd! I was hoping to take them to the park this afternoon , but the forecast is not looking good
They are playing barbies at the moment, and I am going to set up a craft activity & make some soup for lunch while they are occupied. Sounds like a plan!
Hugs, sticks & spoons to those that need them, esp Pigpens DD1. I hope you get it sorted.0 -

Well that was rather a long HHC!
But I did manage to do a really thorough tidy of our bedroom, so it's looking much better now (apart from the HUGE pile of ironing on the bed but if I started that now, I'd still be here at 10pm tonight)!
I think a coffee is in order before the next HHC. Anyone fancy one?:coffee::coffee::coffee:0 -
MY NEW BATH IS NEARLY DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The bits came today... I can now call the builder to come sort the kitchen.. 2 days behind schedule but it is ok, we will manage.
This weeks bills paid, nails fixed, new HD arrived so I will format and fill that.. I need to see if I can get any files off the old one.. it is proving impossible up to now.. there has to be a way! Prescriptions collected for DD4 and DS3.. mostly organised... a few more phone calls and my life will be back to its normal level of insanity
First job.. Dress Dot!
OH gone to shop with Squeak.
Oh.. I need to do a Tesco shop too.. and I cannot get through to DD1's HV

Got toilet, sink and bath cleaned yesterday so just have the floor to do in there. Need to clear the utility room today and back hall before someone falls and breaks their neck (that would be me).
Pigpen hope you get through to HV very soon.“Life is short, live it. Love is rare, grab it. Anger is bad, dump it. Fear is awful, face it. Memories are sweet, cherish it.”0 -
Can any of you lovely people advise me how to clean my washing machine? I haven't done it in months and I'm sure last time i just put it on an empty 90 wash.....or did i stick some white vinegar in it???
I'm waiting in for a parcel and thought i would do all those little jobs that I never have time to do..........I've searched all the threads and just can't find a thing!
many thanks if anyone can help x0 -
Howdy. I've made a start on my stripes. Will post a pic later as my phone is plugged in to get updates. Also been to ikea and mr s.
Couldn't find the cheap wooden spice rack I was after, but never mind. I got a cheap chrome rail for DS bedroom. I'm going to hang it at the head of his bed, it has some rubber pockets so will hold a drink, book, his torch lol. A bit like a bunk bed shelf, but for just a couple of quid :T
Also got a new runner for my hallway. Depending on how it looks when down it may save me the cost / hassle of replacing the laminate flooring!
Got some plastic fillable eggs 20p for a pack of 8 from mr s in reduced section. My kids love these so I thought I'd grab em, while they are cheap!Bossymoo

Empty the filter first, and give the rubber seals a good wipe out to loosen/remove any gunk then run it on the hottest cycle (you can reduce the spin) and add either a cupful of white vinegar or a handful of washing (household) soda.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson
