    Hi, sorry I've been missing again, have had a few troublesome weeks with one of the schools :cool:

    I received a no thanks from last Friday's meeting (interviewed well just other stronger applicants) but did have another one on Tuesday and one tomorrow. So, hopefully they may be more positive.

    The brakes on the car went this week, which I could have done without but luckily I've been stashing a bit back for car repairs so moneywise I should be ok this week.

    I'm feeling more positive about things today, despite the no thanks email. I treated myself to a hair cut this morning and look a bit like my normal self again. I seem to have lost some weight since I've been off, can't moan, but the suit trousers won't stay up if I loose to much!

    I've also found another couple of local jobs which I've sent applications off for.

    So tomorrow, school run first thing (last normal day for the oldest :eek:), then meeting, then school run and a drop off at family at tea time. I might even be able to squeeze a wine in with the girls later on.

    Onwards and upwards :)
    This time I haven't smoked since 6th Jan 2014 and still going ok.
    Fingers crossed x

    Sorry about the job but fingers crossed for the rest!! :)

    Bummer about the car brakes but it's good you've been thinking, planning and saving ahead of time! Takes the pressure off!!

    What age is your oldest? GCSEs?

    Vino???? :D:D:D

    Nearly finished the week and still smiling. Luckily I like the new job at the moment - which is a bit of surprise as it is completely different to anything I've done before.

    Ok, money is rubbish but its better than benefits, much cheaper to get to etc than the old job and I really needed a change. So for now it will do :)

    I can't believe how much my old job was costing me, just to get there, clothing, lunches etc. In reality I am not much worse off financially a month and now I have the option of extra hours if I want it.

    I still need to hit the debt though, I feel guilty for the sparse amount I've thrown at it recently. I'm back to knocking a bit extra off each day and DH, bless him, is going through a whole new set of recipes etc to keep the meal planning going as cheaply as possible. We will get there eventually, I am amazed we've got through the last few months without it getting any worse.

    I can't get organised around my hours though and I need to try and get into some sort of routine. I know its early days but the house side of things feels completely out of control this week and I am normally over organised. Still it will all come together at some point. I doesn't help I've both boys home too at the moment so its difficult to get much done (and there are no school runs to regulate me!).

    So tomorrow before work (only in for the afternoon):

    * Get up and sorted at a decent time :o
    * Sweep & dust downstairs.
    * Clean bathroom
    * Clean our bedroom
    * Bins etc

    DH can sort the boys out, washing is up to date, might hit the rest of the ironing and putting away if I have time.

    Got my new uniform today, could be worse! At least now I can clear out a bit more of the wardrobe at the weekend and get a few bags down the charity shops.

    Time for a glass of white I think (first one of the week) :)

    Wakey! Wakey! ;) :rotfl:

    Really glad to hear the new job is going well! Even more so that it's saving you ££ too!! :D

    At least you're throwing something at the debt, sparse or otherwise!!

    Happy cleaning today! :p To be honest I'd be happy swapping. I can't say I've the most riveting job in the world so a bit of cleaning would be a welcome break!! :o
