I am doing this right?= I am trying to book a return flight with Easy Jet from LGW to Bodrum from August/ Sept, the outward flights are all about £70 but the return flights are all more than double this. Is the norm flying back from Turkey?

Which days of the week/dates are you considering for the return? Perhaps it is just a very popular time/day with other travellers?

It seems to be the same as this throughout the year...it may be that there are higher airport taxes to pay re departing Bodrum....or it could just be because they do charge more

I have just tested the Easyjet site for return flights from bodrum. From the beginning of Sept right through until well into October the price stays between £135 and well over £300! Then it drops down to £80. Bodrum must just be very popular in September/October.

my reference was more to the % difference between the outbound and return...when the return flight drops to £80, you can get the outbound for £36 so still significantly higher to come back than get out :-)

OK I didn't look at the outbound as the OP seemed happy with the price offered.
