After being given a PCN back in feb i have had my first letter from the debt collectors saying i must now pay £140. This has been filed and so will the rest of them. Still a bit nervous about just leaving it but thanks to the MSE posters im taking their advice and ignoring them. Hopefully it doesnt put a black mark against my name haha.

It can't affect your credit rating any more than a phishing email could:

...as already linked in my earlier post.

You can just play snap with the letters since you've decided not to appeal it. I explained earlier you had two choices and you've chosen to ignore so stick with that now you are getting the debt collector threatograms.

Obviously, you would never ignore a real small claim if ever they tried it on - very rare and Excel haven't tried one for ages. Very defendable too (but not something to ignore of course, you would need help with a defence from here or pepipoo to see it off).

Do not respond to any private messages about this incident or anyone asking for more details, as PPCs do read these forums.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
