Do not ever bank with santander

Spread as much as you like, but the reality is that you'll just go down in history as a Santander basher and people will ignore you, as you don't even say why you think they are so incompetent (apart from "they don't know the law and I do!").
I don't think the OP knows the law either!0 -

Santander have broken the law (not just a minor law, but the law - the whole thing) and should be sent to banker jail for eleventy hundred years. I can't say how they've broken it and now I'm leaving so you can't question me. But they have and you should all believe me and agree with me because I have read some stuff about the law on an internet forum, making me infinitely more qualified than them. If you don't agree with me, you're just as bad as they are and will also be sent to banker jail.0

I understand the need to vent, but you really won't convince anyone not to bank with them. We already know that some people have bad experiences.
However, I would really like to know more details about the scam! Go on. Share!:)0 -
From what I can make out:
OP wanted to look "naturally younger", so signed up for a free trial for a beauty kit. However, as time was pushing on and she wasn't getting any younger, she failed to read the full terms:
By buying this Special Trial Beauty Kit, you will pay only for shipping and handling upon placing the order. You will then have 14 days (after processing and delivery time) to evaluate our products and if you choose to keep the kit, you will be charged the full cost of £97.95.
She didn't send it back and then got charged.
And now I think it's all Santander's fault.0 -

Did you know there's a law against that ?0
