Advice re: new ISA which will allow transfer in during June

The answer from Leeds upholds my fears, they confirm that transfers in can be made throughout the 2013 / 14 calendar year but only whilst the issue is open and they cannot confirm when it will be closed.
Bu**er
Still worth opening with later transfers in in mind though, as there's nothing else comparable around

@OP: it may be worth checking whether krbs are offering one of their flexible fixed rate accounts at the mo'.
P.S. I've checked for you - their 2 year FR ISA pays 2.4% p.a., needs £1000 to be opened, and accepts subsequent transfers in.Free the dunston one next time too.0 -
Are Halifax rates any good to you (dont know your capital sum) but if they are , you could keep your eye to MSE to hear when they are about to close (print off application form ready perhaps) and delay the application as late as poss , so that perhaps the 60 days they allow for transfer from application received day, might get you to the maturity date of the Skipton? Need careful timing though. Just a thought.0
