Good for you, keep going!!!Discharged June 06:beer:
Not visited for ages but missed you guys0 -
Indeed. Now that you know you may be able to help him. Perhaps tough love will be necessary at times but simple understanding will be needed at others... just like any relationship. You've managed to pick up a few things to talk about this weekend though... could be a bit scary you suddenly being an expert on everything, lol... but that could also be very reassuring for him too.

Of course I am going to stick by him and I'm going to make him get this sorted once and for all. Like they say these things can only make our relationship stronger.
Please try to persuade him to make an appointment to see the OR asap. When I had my court hearing in the Strand, we were given an appointment to see the OR for a brief meeting that afternoon. It was made very clear to me that I had to attend that meeting, as the OR may take the view that if you can't be bothered to attend either you've got something to hide or you're not that bothered about the outcome. In effect, your case will be put on the back burner until you do make contact, & then they'll ask why you haven't done so before now, because they take a dim view of non-attenders. Whether he likes it or not, he's got to deal with them otherwise his case will never be resolved, but ORs aren't all as bad as they're made out. The longer he leaves it, the harder it will be to do. The meeting usually takes no more than a couple of hours, & then it will be over with.
