I spend some on a really good holiday!
The rest I'd probably put towards a house deposit or something sensible like that!Current debt - £16,300Debt at worst 17/03/2011 - £18,067.62:eek::eek::ANot going anywhere else, ever again :A0 -
Congrats SS on paying off so much! :T I hope you are really proud of yourself!
If I had the mortgage when I got the 15k then the money would all go to that apart from a little bit to take my mum and brother out to dinner.
If I was mortgage free, then I would spend 5k on the holiday of a life time, put 3k in an ISA and then use the rest to save up for when I change my flat to a house. Fairly boring stuff reallyDebt Free - done
Mortgage Free - done

I've had this dream many many times.......Mrs Aj_eye and I have lay awake at night thinking about having spare cash.....
We would most probably save it or put it towards a deposite for a house however if like in Brewsters millions we HAD to spend it it would go as follows
1. £1000 will be put into a 21 year fixed fund which I can add to but can't withdraw from. (for my son).
2. £1000 on a visit to Victoria Secrets, la senza, agent provocateur and bravissimo..........(my present to my wife for my benifit):D
3. £1600 on an omega seamaster Ref: 2225.80.00
4. £6000 on a new car (2nd hand Passat 2.0 TDI.... metallic Blue with black interior Automatic gear box).
5. £3000 on a multimedia station : To include a 42" plasma Tv, bose lifestyle system, a NAS (i.e. Network Access Storage) unit with a 1000 gig capacity and a blue ray DVD player.
6. £2400 on a holiday..............Figi, Maldives or somewhere like that ....Living with the legacy of bad decisions....but Proud to be dealing with my debts !:j Official DFW Nerd No. 3620
