After all the messing about earlier in the week, Asda has said tonight that it's going to charge just £5 per copy for JK Rowling's final tale.

The supermarket had earlier said it was going to sell it for £8.87 like Tesco and Sainsbury's.

Apparantly the wholesale price is over £10, so it's taking a big hit to get you in the shop!

Wonder if Tescos and Sains will follow suit and sell it for £5...hope so in case Asda run out before I get there.

I guess if enough people have preordered then they could afford to sell it cheaper instore

What makes me laugh is this, get the book before the public does when the auction ends after it is officially released? A mere snip at $1,200; those crazy Americans! :rotfl:
