We can't be sure. It's just what they have been doing historically. SO we can hope they will keep doing it. But no guarantees at all.0 -

I agree that it is not promoted as a bonus, since Santander seem to deem a bonus as an additional rate eg. if Rory wins a major, but it does seem that it will operate in a similar way in which other banks operate bonuses. This is also supported by the anecdotal evidence of those speaking to people in branch who say the change will only be for new customers0 -

If you are talking about the Santander 2.8% 2 year fixed.
She could open one today and fund it with £1 or however much she wanted - up to the limit of course.
Then she would have until the 30th May to transfer her matured ISA into it.Deposits for 2012/13 tax year can be made up to and including 5 April 2013 and deposits for 2013/14 tax year can be made up to and including 30 May 2013.
No subsequent additional deposits allowed.0 -

Where on the site can you find out what the interest rate on your specific account is?
I can't find any mention of "Direct ISA Saver (Issue 1)" on the site, which is what I transferred to with the 2.5% rate.
"Issue 2" is listed, which is the 2% rate.
Online banking on mentions that my account is "Direct ISA Saver". No mention of any issue number.Check out my Ultimatcher40 -
This may help for accounts no longer available. I struggle with it on my current Flexible ISA Issue 3 which they have renamed ISA SAVER.0

Also got an Issue 1 ISA and can't find details online.
Want to confirm the rate has drop before I transfer it again.0
