does anyone have experience doing chargebacks against paypal

It would be better if you kept your posts to one of the 2 identical threads that you started so that we don't have to waste time trying to keep track.

So I suggest you pick a thread and then post a message on the other one that you will be updating the other thread only.

As far as i know if you lost the dispute on paypal you can try to dispute it via your bank, That's if you paid via debit/credit card and try get your money back.
If its after 45 days i don't think you can dispute it i think for banks its 6 months so be quick.

Your bank doesn't even need to get involved; just go back to Paypal and say that their decision is wrong and you demand they investigate further. Reiterate that you sent an e-mail to tell the seller what you were buying from them and it wasn't anything to do with what they're alleging.

As for 'forged e-mails' you could always give them your written authority to obtain copies of the e-mails from your e-mail provider. That way they can be sure that what you're saying is correct.
