Newnet = Worst Isp Ever - Stay Well Away!!!

I had been a customer with newnet for 18 months. I had good service from them and apart from the stupidly high price hikes (to which I remained loyal) I thought they were a decent enough company.
Recently I moved house and since I knew of this well in advance I enquired what their process was back in January. I was told everything would be fine and just let them know when I had my move date. I informed them about a week before I was due to move (the first time I knew) and thats where the problem started.
First of all they said they needed 30 days notice. I told them about when I informed them in January and after they dragged their feet for a couple of days and after I asked to speak to a manger they finally agreed that I had given notice.
Then they wanted written confirmation. I sent them a fax and heard nothing. After chasing them numerous times and them denying they had received anything, they finally came back with a sh*tty one line response, "fax received, account now closed". Fine I thought, not the best goodbye especially since I wanted to rejoin them when my phoneline is installed in my new house.
Then I checked my statement. I had been charged for another month despite all my efforts. I emailled them and explained all my dates etc to them and that I was due a refund. After 6 DAYS (!!!!!) of people coming back to me saying I hadn't given notice or they had to check my fax and they needed some time to "work out" my problem - I was finally told since I used 3 days service in April I would be charged for the whole month, even though this was after my 30 days notice.
So yeah, after all that effort they still had the decency to spit in my face and charge me £22 FOR 3 DAYS SERVICE, which I didn't even use since I had moved out. To further my frustration, I have put loads of my friends and family on to newnet and now feel klike a total mug. I am planning to get them all switched over to different isps because of this and I will be also writing to their Mangaing Director and Ofcom to complain.
DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS ISP AT ALL, ITS NOT EVEN WORTH YOUR EFFORT.
RIP OFF PRICES AND WAIT UNTIL YOU TRY TO LEAVE BEFORE YOU EVEN BEGIN TO EXPERIENCE WHAT NEWNET CAN DO FOR YOU!!

Cool down mate, I wouldn't have expected better service from any other ISP in this country, they're all just as bad.0
