What else do you expect of Gideon / George? He's a rat.

The supreme arrogance of a member of a government who truly believe they are superior to everyone else and above the laws of the country .

On meeting Cameron or Osbourne I would probably get 5 years for GBH. !

IDS on the other hand I would get life !

The car was a police vehicle with, I assume, a police driver. There are some people who might want to attack him, including one poster above who noted they wanted to commit GBH on him, and it seems entirely reasonable for the police to wait in the vehicle as near to the entrance as possible for security reasons.

I've never met George Osborne, and don't particularly agree with his policies, but I'm surprised that this is the most sensational news story that the Daily Mirror can plaster on its front page.

It might be argued that as controller of the vehicle (i.e. the chaffeur operates under HIS instructions) that any offence caused is his alone.
:rotfl:So Princess Diana committed suicide then!
Osborne is quite fit enough to take a walk from a proper parking space to the door I am quite sure.
Yes but he's at risk from the sort of knuckle-draggers who get wound up by inaccurate sensationalist stories in the gutter press.
He also is perfectly aware as a seasoned politician of the need to be seen at ALL times to be abiding the law.
Except if they get an egg thrown at them during campaigning :rotfl:

As the Range Rover is a large vehicle, I expect the driver wished not to play the 'ding-the-doors' game ... :D:p;)

No problem can withstand the assault of sustained thought.
Only after the last tree has been cut down. Only after the last fish has been caught. Only after the last river has been poisoned. Only then will you realize that money cannot be eaten.

Yes, can you imagine the scandal? The chauffer opens the door and it touches the next car. Headline in the Mirror "George Osbourne vandalises pensioner's/grandmother's/single mother's* car.

    * or insert other adjective to describe car owner which journalists like to think illicits extra empathy for the victim.

He was utilising (taking advantage of) the space quite plainly:

Whether or not he actually reversed into it is neither here or there. He is clearly using the space when he should not.

Just like a lot of shoppers at tesco's, sainsburys, take your pick of stores.

It's obviously a slow news day.

It's a disgrace. Clearly we need a strong crackdown on those w**kars who pretend to be disabled when they're not. And illiterate photoshoppers should be next.
