Singapore Airlines - has anyone had a successful claim?

My family and I travelled with Singapore airlines in 2012 and were delayed for over 12 hours out of London and missed a whole day in Singapore. Our flight ended up being cancelled and we were sent out the next day on the first flight out of Heathrow.
We have written to Singapore using the templates and had an acknowledgment after about a week and this was mid February and nothing since. We have followed up with them last week via email as had no luck on the phone and nothing back on email or otherwise.
I have heard of so many people being compensated but no one has mentioned Singapore Airlines. If anyone has any information I would love to hear about it. Thank you.

I am about to lodge a claim with them myself. I was just going to use their online 'contact us' tab but what address did you use?

And with regards to your own query, a lot of people on this forum have described a cheque arriving 'out of the blue' from various airlines so hang in there...and keep us posted if you get any response.
