definitely notify the letting agent of all these things, not just for fixing purposes, but also for getting your deposit back.
The last letting agent I rented from (for a year) wanted to deduct money from the deposit for a missing spindle, even once we pointed out that the (years-old) carpet had clearly been put in since the spindle disappeared.
They really will try to take money for anything so take plenty of dated photos (camera should record it) as soon as possible and keep them safe.0 -
The 7 day deadline is not a deadline. Do not feel you have to do it tomorrow. When you do return it, note all damage that is present but not mentioned on the inventory.0 -
