Anyone had dealings with Diamond Fusion?

Anyone had any dealings with this company for installing heating systems. Good or bad .

My dad was sold a contract for an Air to Water system last month. It may be a genuine deal. But I am pretty concerned because he is 85 years old, lives in an old, listed, uninsulated house and he was asked for a £1000 deposit immediately. The total price quoted is £8500.
I believe the system is unsuitable, or at least, inadvisable. But, more importantly, I think the sales methods are pretty sharp. There is a 7 day cooling off period. The company purported to do checks regarding Listed status and planning regs. But the onus is on the householder to seek planning consent for modifications, which takes in excess of 21 days.
If my dad wanted to take advantage of any RHPP, he would have to have had a Green Deal assessment. This was not part of a Green Deal package, and Diamond Fusion did not mention this to my dad.

I'm just starting to try & work out with my Dad where they are with the contract and how he can cancel and reclaim his £1000 deposit, so that he can install a more suitable solution. If anyone else has experience of the company I'd be very interested to hear how you got on.

I'd never heard of them and from Googling I can only ascertain that a company of that name sells protective coatings for paint, glass [e.g. windscreens] etc. . Is that their exact name?

Well there is a firm in Bournemouth called Solar Fusion and a Google search for "Diamond Fusion Bournemouth" identifies a company in Bournemouth of that name. Don't know if there is any connection between the firms.
