Thanks MSE; received a thousand pounds from BA today!

Just a quick email to say thanks to MSE for the information on cancelled flights.
Today I received a cheque for over a thousand pounds, from BA, for a flight which was turned back, just 20 minutes after take off. I made a complaint at the time as to how BA handled the situation, bearing in mind I was travelling alone from Dubai to the UK with a 6 month baby, and received no compensation.
However, I just sent them the templated letter, with a copy of the original email, and got the cheque within 6 weeks.
Thanks again. Without this website I wouldn't have known I was able to claim for this.
