I bought one when amazon starting selling them for £29.99 and its an excellent player. has played every kind of disk i have tried with it. can display jpeg photos and play mp3 music files too.

you would need to turn on the tv for the sound. no speakers come with the player!!

i think what he means is does it have rca sockets for audio out? and does it have a display for the mp3s so you know what it's doing, for use in a hifi or something.

Bought one in December when it was still £29.99. Worked perfectly to start off with, but now it wouldn't read any discs at all!! I'm in the process of sending it back to amazon for a refund.

it does not have a display or any kind of indicator lights, not even to show if its on, standby or off. so its no perfect by any means but it is a nice compact size and extremely good value.

dont no wheather to buy it or put £20 more and buy a proper branded one like sony think its better to spend a bit more and get quality

Heck I bought one, been humming about it for ages but for that money it cant be that bad for a bedroom. It was going to cost me £25 for a new remote control for my other dvd player.My expensive DVD players ( toshiba, philips and sony) dont play a lot of DVDS anyway so this will be fine for me. It all depends what you need it for but the great thing with Amazon is if you are not happy they will refund you !
